PROJECT PROPOSAL #1

1.) for our first independent project me and my partner are thinking of doing portrait but with an altered background. basically its just a normal portrait but the i would cut her out and put her in a different background

 

2.) for this image i'm thinking of doing it by using a solid colored backdrop so it wouldn't be hard to cut her out of the background

 

3.) for this image i will need a model which is my sister and the location would be in a room and we would use a light and a screen to dim the light for the portrait

​

4.) i am going to shoot this images in a room and were gonna use lights for effects

​

5.) i want to try this type of photography because it would be a new skill to take a portrait of someone and i want to develop a good skill on editing a photo using photoshop

​

PROJECT AFTER QUESTIONS #1 

1.  for my independent project ! i chose to do an altered background because it looks great and i want to know more stuff about editing in photoshop

​

2. for the images i took i got them by taking a picture and choosing a great background to be accurate according to the models position

​

3. for the editing i just put light effects and changed the background because so that way it would look accurate according to what my model is wearing and her position

​

4. for this project i learn to position my model in  more clean way so that it wouldn't be hard for me to cut her out of the picture

​

5. the only thing i found difficult about the project is how to position my model because i didn't know what the background would be and how it would look 

​

6. over all i think that they came out pretty good but some of them needs more effort

​

7. for my next independent project i'm thinking of doing dispersion styles because i want to learn to edit a photo manually and i want to learn some techniques

​

PROJECT PROPOSAL #2

1. For my next project i picked dispersion because i want to learn some techniques that i haven't tried before

​

2. for my image i'm going to shoot in a room with a room lighting so when i put contrast in the picture it would have a different warm tone

​

3. for this project i just need a camera, model and a dim light

​

4.to shoot the images i just need a room big enough so i can have space to take pictures

​

5. i want to try this type of photography to develop my skills in using photoshop even if the photos don't turn out to look good at least i can gain more experience in photoshop and know more about it

​

PROJECT AFTER QUESTIONS #2 

1. i picked a spacious room to shoot my pictures so that way model have more space to move in

​

2. to get the image i used a camera, a room and a dim light 

​

3. for my images i edited it by using mask on the image and paintbrush tool to get the effect

​

4. i learned that for this kind of photography has to have action in it or maybe just a position in a different way so when i do the paint brush effect it would look accurate according to the position

​

5. the difficult thing is that it is hard to know where the dispersion would be because of the angle and that it should match the angle or side that you would disperse

​

6. I think that the outcome of the project is decent some of them are bad but i think that some of them looks god too

​

7. for my next project I think I would be doing altered portrait because I want to develop more and know more on how to work with blacks and grey

​

PROJECT PROPOSAL #3

1. for this project I chose to do altered portrait because i wanted to see how many designs and styles I can do with just working with black and grey

 

2. for my images in this project Im going to shot my subject in a one colored background, then im gonna desaturate  the image, next is to chose a soft brush and paint the color of grey you want on the background but leave the subject, then you can start choosing images you want to put and desaturate the image, then you can put the images wherever you want

 

3. for this images the only specific thing i need is a subject which is gonna be my model because it would be hard using an object as a subject

 

4. for this image i am going to shoot in a room with space and no other stuff on the way so it wouldn't be on the photo

 

5. i wanted to try doing this as my project because i wanted to try new things and i want to work with just only 2 colors with different shades

 

PROJECT AFTER QUESTIONS #3

1.  i picked a room to do my project on because i dont really need a fancy place to shoot my images on

​

2. what i did to get my images is that i took the images in the room, i told my subject to do different poses and edit them in photoshop

​

3. the editing i did for my images is that im gonna desaturate  the image, next is to chose a soft brush and paint the color of grey you want on the background but leave the subject, then you can start choosing images you want to put and desaturate the image, then you can put the images wherever you want

​

4. for this kind of photography i learned that different poses can be used to make different style and kinds of designs

​

5. there is nothing i find difficult about creating this images because everything is very easy once you start editing the images

​

6. I think that the images came out really amazing and I think i could've done better by doing other designs or looks

​

7. for my next project I am gonna do glass decay which is a different style of dispersion but using a glass brush

 

PROJECT PROPOSAL #4

1. for my 4th independent project I chose to do another kind dispersion which is called glass decay because its a kind of dispersion that uses a shattered glass brush

​

2. i am going to shoot my subject in a room with a natural light from the sunlight so that way the image will not turn too bright or reflecting some light

​

3. the only thing specific i need is the position of the light when i take the pictures because when i edit it, the light should match the background

​

4. I will be going to shoot the images in the room with a lot of space so there will be nothing on the way when i take the pictures

​

5. i wanted to try this kind of photography again because i wanted to get more practice in making this kind of images 

​

PROJECT AFTER QUESTIONS #4

1. i picked to do my project on a room with a natural light because i needed to make sure that the light in my images will math the one in the background

​

2. to get the image i took the picture in a room then tried different poses that matches the same look that im looking for

​

3. what i did to get the image is that after i took the image I edited it in photoshop then I took out the background from the picture and put another background that have different colors then I chose the shattered glass brush then start erasing the edges of the subject, i made another copy of the image layer and used the liquify effect, then i put a mask over the liquified layer to make it disappear then i used the same brush again

​

4. for this project i learned that you have to shoot the image in a certain way that will surely match the design that your after

​

5. the only thing i find difficult about creating this project is that the light can sometimes be messed up since the sun moves and same as the light

​

6. i think that the images came out looking average because some of them can look different in a bad way because of the light, and i also think that they could be better

​

7. in my next project im thinking of doing negatives because i wanted to work using just the adjustments settings

​

PROJECT PROPOSAL #5

1. for my fifth independent project i chose to do negative because i wanted to try and experiment using the adjustment settings to change the image its basically an image of a model in a black background and adjust the image using the adjust settings 

​

2. for this image i will be shooting it in a dark scene and background using only a light

​

3. the only thing specific i need is the black box because i would need it so it would be dark and i would need to use a light

​

4. i will be shooting it in the black box because it would be interesting to see the color that would pop in a black background

​

5. i wanted to try this photography because i wanted to see what colors would pop if i change the adjustment settings

​

PROJECT AFTER QUESTIONS #5

1. i picked the black box to do my project on because so that way its dark in the picture with only a light so i can see the model

​

2. to get the image i used a light to illuminate the subject since it was too dark

​

3. the  kind of editing i did to the images is by changing he adjustments settings because that way color would pop in the image even though it was dark 

​

4. for this kind of photography i learned that even if the photo is dark there would still be colors thats hiding

​

5. theres is nothing difficult i found in taking these images

​

6.  i think that the images came out how i pictured it and i think that some of them could've been better 

​

7. for my next photography i am thinking of doing cold winter, so basically i'm gonna take a lot of pictures of my model when it's snowing because since its winter break and going to snow soon

​

PROJECT PROPOSAL #6

1. for this project i picked to do cold winter because since its winter and snowy might as well make use of the snowy scene

​

2. for this images i will be shooting it outside when its snowing so i can get the effect of the falling snow in the background and in the front

​

3. for this project the only specific thing I need is the snow because i wanted it to snow a lot so i can take more pictures

​

4. i will be shooting outside and i will need a good lighting because of the snow and the clouds making the scene kinda dark, so i need a light to make the color pop

​

5. i anted to try this photography because i wanted to try taking pictures in cold and try to see the images i can get working with snow

​

PROJECT AFTER QUESTIONS #6

1. i picked to do it outside because the snow is outside 

​

2. to get the image i id use an umbrella so the snow wouldn't get in the camera and i used a reflector so i can use a light but at the same time its not intense

​

3. the editing i did to get the image is really simple, I just change the brightness of the photo, i changed something in the exposure and i made the color more popping

​

4. for this kind of photography the only thing I learned is that there is a good effect you can get with snow and that shooting with snow is really cold

​

5. the only difficult thing i found making this image is that it is hard to get good pictures because my hands were freezing and its was hard for my hand to feel the button

​

6. i think that the images can turned out to be alright but i think it could be better

​

7. for my next independent project i am thinking of doing whimsical time, it is basically like allice in wonderland but focused on the white rabbit and i am going to have a background to get the whimsical effect

​

PROJECT PROPOSAL #7

1. for my independent project seven i picked to do the whimsical time because i think it is cool to include the theme of allice in wonderland in my project

​

2. for this image i will be shooting it indoors and i would be using a background and some effects in the background to get the image im looking for

​

3. for this project background and time is the only specific thing I need because i would still have to do more preparations before i shoot this pictures

​

4. i am going to shoot this image indoors because i am looking for the light that you get just inside the room

​

5. i will try to do this project because i wanted to make use of the allice theme and try to add some effects in the image

​

PROJECT AFTER QUESTIONS #7

1. i picked a room to do my project on because just as suspected i manage to get the lighting that i was looking for to get the image

​

2. to get the image i used a background, a good lighting, and i edited them by in photoshop

​

3. to get the image the editing i did is by changing the intensity of the image, i changed the exposure a little and the brightness of the photo then i added a filter to the photo to give it an effect

​

4. the thing i learned in doing this photography is that it is hard to set some of the things in their right position specially the cards because i wanted it to show in the image

​

5 . the only thing i found difficult in creating this image is the background because i was hard to make it i printed separate pieces of the same image and it was hard to puzzle them all together and also when shooting the images because i wanted to make sure that the flaws wouldn't show in the image  

​

6. i think that after all that hard work i manage to get good pictures because it was exactly what i was expecting, i think that it could be better 

​

7. for my next independent project i am thinking of doing thief and detective group project with my sister, so basically i would print a printable brick background and both me and my sister will use the same background, I would be the thief and my sister would be the detective
